Initial Consultation

Once you contact us, we will arrange to meet with you to find out what you hope to achieve with your garden.

At this meeting our designer will talk to you about possible planting schemes, textures, colours and materials to be used, the style of garden you would like and how much you propose to spend on the project.

Our designer will also make an initial inspection of your garden to establish any immediate issues, such as site access and functional aspects of your garden.

Site Survey

Following our initial consultation, we will visit your property to take digital photographs and accurate measurements of your garden and buildings.

We will pay particular attention to site elevation and orientation, soil conditions, access points such as doorways & gates and the location and nature of existing garden features.

Plans

We will prepare an outline design for your new garden. This will serve as the focus for a further meeting to discuss whether our garden design is in line with your expectations.

Based on matters discussed at our meeting, we will refine our outline design to produce a final design, containing more detailed information about how the project will be realised.

Costing & Scheduling

Based on our final design, we will prepare estimates of the cost of materials and equipment to be used in the project.

Working in cooperation with yourselves to accomodate your time commitments, we will also prepare a schedule of the work to be carried out.

In-Project Refinement

While we find that alterations to larger features of our garden design are rarely necessary, we often find that clients ask us to make smaller changes and additions to a project, as things begin to take shape.

Because we like to listen to and respond to our clients' needs, we are more than happy to accomodate such changes and will adjust our costs and schedules appropriately.

Maintenance Plan

Once your garden is complete, we will provide you with all the information that you need to maintain your garden.

In addition, we will arrange a visit to ensure that new features and plants are settling in correctly.
